It was last thursday...I think I opened an old trunk..full of me pussers uniforms...damn must have got wet they all shrinked.. It made me wonder..if I should look up some of those "cookie monsters" I once knew, thunder bourke, shorty reardon,dixie lees,just to name a few. shit I must be gettin old thinkin about stuff like that, whats wrong with this thing wont fit ...damn pussers hats. I was al good fun sittin in the rain drinkin anchor beer...oh damn makes me remember that horrible three coins beer from sri lanka, and the little fellow I only tipped one ruppee.... he told me that one ruppee canot even buy a box of matches and some smart cookie replied "well you shoulnt smoke"Oh I shouldnt joke he was a good bloke, thats a bit slack ....then again never did get me wallet back....well I must go now may be I might look some of em up..... Yes Dave we are all getting older my pussers uniform is long gone, I go out and weighed 85 kilos, now weigh 120, so the uniforms wont fit. Dixie Lees is up in Qld these days and he has an email address Shorty Reardon have'nt heard of him for years. Keep writing on the site and you never know who is gunna say howdy. Like you I forget so much and sometimes need a letter like yours to bring the memories come fllooding back I was a bit partial to sanmig and egg banjos from moes those were the days alas only memories these days but what memories. I think Shorty is still involved with Pussers as a CPOCK. I heard he paid off and later on rejoined. He is a member of this Forum, but he has'nt responded to any contact.
