 No , I am dead center. i.e. Middle Row ( 3rd row up from the bottom, and 6th in from the left or 6th in from the right.
There were, a lot of Blacks in the US Army ! A lot opted for it, instead of doing Prison Time ! By the way, the 3 Blokes in the front were our ' Drill Sargents ' , One Black, One Hispanic ( Puerto Rican ) and one WhiteyWindyI am in the Center with the Shades.........

G'day Cliff ! and everyone else..............
I've been away for quite a while, first from Pneumonia, then bloody Hepatitis C ? ( Must of been from a trip Up Top ? ) and more recently with Bloody Lung Cancer ! had to chop it off, so only breathing on half a tank ! ! But it'll take a lot more than this to keep me from going in the hole..........Windy

Windy,
Welcome back mate  , I did'nt know about the Hep C at all and the Lungs only after I received your recent email about your painful recovery period.
I thought your main problem was the crippling back pain and associated surgery on and off over the years
I've been very slack in not putting up your illnesses on the Forum.
I will put it up very soon mate, When? Where? were you when the Lung problem and the Hep C surfaced.

G'day Cliff,
I was at home in bed, one cold Morning on the 30th June when I developed the pains in the Chest, pain when breathing out and at 5.45 AM had to make that hard decision to call an Ambulance. After some x-rays, they said it was Pneumonia ! but futher CT scans revealed a tumour, which was the cause of the Pneumonia.
The tumour itself wasn't actually causing me grief, but was pretty big, and had likely been growing for years !
Anyway, I was having some normal Blood Tests, when I mentioned that I had lived in Vietnam for 4 years and the Dr just happenned to include a test for Hep C and sure enough, I had it ! AND as it appears must have passed it onto my wife ? As she was tested in 2002 prior to our Sons Birth and She, didn't have it then ? Very Odd ? As I never had any Tattoos, or did any Intravenous Drugs, or had any Blood Transfusions ?
So now , she is being Tested for possible Treatment for Hep C ? Which is Injections and drugs , which can make you feel sick so I believe ?
Anyway, I had a Broncoscopy where a Biopsy was taken from the tumour and sure enough it was cancerous ! So, the surgeon wasn't going to take any chances and cut away the wholel of the Left lower Lung ! which was done on the 1st August !
So all this Shit hit the fan between 30 June and the 1st August ! 3 Life changing events ! So now I am just trying to get better. I've got another huge scar on my back now, around the left shoulder blade which hurts like buggery, as it's where you lean on when your sitting, and where you lie on, when your Lying down. It was from here that they operated on me.
SO, it's been a month now since the Lung has gone, and I am quite tired, but it's more of a ' Lack of Oxygen ' tiredness than wanting to sleep. The Dr reckons it'll take another 2 months before I'll be able to breathe easy again ! It feels like someone is sitting on your Chest ! And No, not a nice Sheila ! It's like a bloody big Stoker !
So Mate, there you have it ! And if that wasn't enough, your right, My back is also killing me ! I had just about had that sorted, by going for Chiropractic 5 mornings a week from Carseldine to Forest lakes ! = $225.00 a week ! Which bsides the Adjustment, included some traction, two lots of 20 minutes , one for the neck and one for the back.
It was really starting to make a difference after 3 months ! Now it's all gone to buggery and I have to start again, slowly working up the time and weights which got up to 20 kilos from a start of 5 kilos and 5 minutes to 20 minutes !
Oh Well...................
Seeya Cliff and Thanks for caring Mate
Windy

Im glad to see you can manage to write an email on this forum. I hope you have good health insurance since some of that treatment can be exspensive. My Dad died from secondaries are having lung cancer for about a year.
