Mick , had this great dream in 85 of breeding Angoras on the 50+ acres I had bought on French Island ($11,000 in 1980) . Pussers paid though the nose for me to do all kinds of training , including 4 weeks accom , meals and training in 'goat fencing' .
Bewdy !! Alls good , says I . Problem was , no way would the 2 families that ran/run French Island would allow goats there .
Jeannie (Ex Brennan), is still waiting for the angora wrap that I promised her when she signed off on my huge expense account .
So , in 95 I sold out to some company that was looking for good F/I properties .
Who ended up owning it and building a hide-away there ? Bloody Kylie Minogue and her family. Right were my goats should have been !!
