Best wishes and I hope the outcomes are all positive :) Regards Cliff Brolgabill here..........I wont be able to get to the reunion this time,im going into Hollywood hospital on Tuesday/18th of july, for this bowel cancer crap, they took out 65% of the prostrate in February, and they want to look at it again,and do a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, to see how it is all going, they said it needs to be done soon, and they wont put it off, as it's needed to be done at this time, as it's six months from when it was done before,So if the next reunion is held in the west i will be there, and will keep u posted on how it all turns out. I received the following great news from Brolga Bill :- This is the GRONK calling in to say Hallow, and to let you know I"m on the Mend from that bowel cancer, three out of the five blood tests have come back "NEGATIVE" only the iron and liver tests need to be bought into line, I feel great and putting on weight (123kgs) at the moment, In December i turfed out the drugs, and got back on the piss (Carlton Mid Strength) and good old Pussers food. train smash and spag for breaky, lunch, ham and beef sangers , and beef stew and vegies, good old rough food,to get the septic tank (guts) going, and it worked,(My doctor at Hollywood wasn't happy with me turfing out he drugs, as they were making me sick). On the liver test in October last year it was 34, and in March this year ( GGT section part) it went up to 126 and the doctor said i have had a few cartons of VB to many, i said it as Mid strength , "and as i have before we should never give up the piss" i have only three cans a night and that's all, Well i will be at the next Reunion in 2008, and will see you all over there in person Cheers for now. Bill sent me this email, he is on the mend and will be at Caloundra in 2008. Hi Cliffy. Well long time since i have called in to say "hi", All is well with me BUT im not out of the woods as yet, i have been put on the INFLIXIMAB (REMICADE) programe over here in Perth Royal Hospital, for the next 12 months, Tony Abbott put it on the PBS scheam when they were in goverment, and you can look it up on the Net or google and see what other people are saying about it (INFLIXMAB) And how it has changed there life for the better..................And i feel good since i have taken it, the Bowl cancer has totaly gone and their is no more lower bowl disease in my body, thank god for that. I will be going to the Cooks reunion this Year, and booked and paid for the accomodation at the Ridges in Coloundra, for four days,so will see all of you up there this year, Im driving over from WA as i need to catch up with some of my family over their in the Eastern States Cheers for now.
