BURNT TURKEY AND HAM
My thoughts go out to fire fighters who're working their butts off in Vic, Tas and NSW. I went away with the CFA last fire season to the Grampians, this fire season will be the worst we have ever seen. Good luck fellow fire fighers and lets hope they enjoy some sort of xmas with their families and mates. come home safe!!!!!! :oops: :oops: 8) 8)

Yes Craig your absolutely right I often think of those brave souls who put their lives at great risk at these times of bush fires and natural disasters. My 'son lives in Newcastle and is actively involved with the cfs he done all his training in Nowra. What alot of people dont realise is the year long the commitment these volunteers make they are going on training nights every week and man the cfs units in their area during times of high danger Then of course we have all seen them recently going away from their home bases to fight fires in far away areas often leaving family and friends to go and do their duty So to all cookie monsters out there when we are at home on xmas day downing a schooner or 2 take a moment of time and have a silent toast for all the boys who are fighting the fires and are away from their loved ones I will be they are truly to be admired thanks Craig for reminding us all !!!!!!!!!!
