Chrissy recipes drinks, food, and goodies
Well, here we have a cooks site and not a recipe for Chrissy to be seen? How does one cook a turkey? What in a nice alcoholic punch? Is it too late to cook the Chrissy pudding? etc, etc, etc.

Defeats the purpose for most of us here Kippy, but anyone can put a recipe up if they want. Cliff Whatley is the keeper of the recipe book may be he will post a couple of recipies for the festive season keep well mate. Jesus Quinny  , I could barely hold my own in a galley let alone actually cook stuff. :P As a Killick I was blessed with top AB's in my watches and they saved my arse heaps of times, but they learnt so many shortcuts, they may have forgotten how to do things the proper way - and it was all under my supervision!!.

boiled fruitcakes
I like to making boiled fruitcakes with rum added instead of sherry or brandy. A nice punch is that stuff that spanish people like to make with red wine and orange juice (???) with bits cinnamin and stuff in it. Or maybe a big bowl of midori illusion??? (midori, pineapple juice and vodka) I like the little sausages in their jackets (real British that is) and stuffing balls put in at the last minute to cook through in the turkey tray. Mince puddings with yummy custard. Made from scratch with proper pastry and marinated fruit.
