Well done Michael Of the photos you posted i only knew a couple Rick Hogarth Was a good bloke and can remember him well from my days at the tross.If at all possible can you try and remember and post some of the blokes names with the phots as like you a lot of us have bad memories I never forget a face But i come up very short on names i have been out 16 years or so now . Its so good of you to post these mate and you'll be surprised how many hits you'll have with people viewing these.These type of posts really keep the kettle on the boil on our site and im so pleased you are on board and i look forward to your posts .And seeing as your a Vic have a go at the footy tipping comp theres a trophy for the winner at the end so please have a go. I know the guy in the pocks gear in the colour photo on the right hand side. He was my pock at Cerberus when i posted in into the maingalley.

the POCK on the right is Brad Smith CPOCK on the left is Steve Smith, the B/Wphoto CPOCK on Right is Gavin ChaveCPOCK on the left is Steve Smith, me on the right and my first class of trainee cooks, a good bunch wonder where they are now.

Know a few people in the photo's Hoppy (Hopgood) 3rd from right in the middle of the B/W photo was the Smnck in my watch at Cerberus Main in about 95 nice bloke use to drive around in a Hemi Charger. Brad Smith was part of the furniture in the Main at Cerberus. Had him as my kellick for a while at in the Main.

In both the photo's at the front of the post, the CPOCK sitting second from left in the front row is Steve 'Nobby' Clarke. Both served together as AB's at Cerberus in '81 and was also with him on the Vampire in around 82 - 83. On the Vamps he had a middle rack in the mess and my bunk was under his. He used to fart a lot and they were toxic! Mad on the grog, loves a punt and a good hand. Virtually lived in a house he rented in Auburn with his brother and another cook named Colin (Shirl) Ching who was also a CPOCK I think and lives in West Aussie. Btw, nice ashtrays in the top pic.

I know the lady in the 2nd photo in the 2nd row on the left. I hear she is running a successful catering bussiness in Sommerville. That might be old imformation her name is Sue Burt don't know if she ever wen to sea but I met her before I did at the Cerberus main galley in 2000.
