Cliff and Jaffa, thanks for your support, much appreciated. Hopefully I caught it early enough, so far all scans and blood tests show it hasn't gone anywhere else. Jude

Best of luck with being in hospital. You are a strong woman being able to beat it the first time.

(Big Jude) Judith has had the surgery , everything went ok and Judith should be at home now. The op went for over 4 hours. Jude has to get over the surgery and will also have the discomfort of a drain in the surgical wound for a while and then further treatment is required just to make sure that nothing has spread. You can post an update please Jude as soon as you are up to it. Very glad that everything has gone ok for you Jude and it will be great to hear from you again. .

Thanks Cliff. Came home yesterday and taking things easy. Those hospital beds aren't the most comfortable and hard to get any sleep. Slept like a log last night. The Doc said the operation went well. He took all the lymph nodes and not sure how long I will have the drainage in for but it is a bit of a pain. Nearly became disconnected a couple of times in hospital, forgot I had it in and started to walk away from the bed. I have to have another CAT scan done just to check all's well as I have been getting a little it of blured vision without my glasses so just making sure all's well. I see the Doc on Tuesday and should have the results and then be told of the next steps. He is making an appointment for me to see the Medical Oncologist and Radiologist. Not sure about these white stockings.....don't really go with shorts  Apparently the op went for 5 hrs and I woke up at 0200 back in the ward. Don't remember coming to in recovery but my son told me that they said I mumbled something.......wonder what it was  Gee you don't realize just how much you use your right arm until you go to do something. Been doing some physio but will have to wait until the drains are out before I can do other stuff. Thanks again for thinking of me and your wishes. Cheers Jude

Knowing you, you will make up for it  Jaffa, thanks for that Cliff, thanks for that. Family are more relieved especially my son Ken who spent 4 hrs waiting for me to come up from recovery, he was getting a bit worried about his Mum. Cheers Jude

Big Jude is'nt travelling too well at present. She was admitted to hospital on Sunday night and is presently in the Womens Hospital in Townsville. She is on a drip as well. The chemo therapy appears to have had a negative effect and has lowered her white cell count. Hang in there Jude, the hospital and your doctors know what's best. Regards Cliff
