Well said Cliff, My sentiments exactly, just on Paul, I met him for the first time on wednesday, he came here to fix my slow running computer. What he don't know about these computers aint worth knowing. He got here at 0930 and left at 1700 such was his dedication to get our computer going at its optimum speed, that nothing was a problem. He installed a new stick of RAM so I have 756 meg of RAM now and should'nt have any more probs. He done a whole systems clean, installed Photosop for me and installed a fish tank screen as a screen saver, plus showed us all what he was doing and installed a clean up program. Paul is a straight shooter and does'nt waste ya time I had a baking day on Wed when he was here so kept the tucker and drinks up to him.He loved that. He is coming back to do a couple of little things and it's just a touch up. I have had this computer for 5 years and it has never worked as well as it does since Paul fixed it. Things that should have been done in previous services and were'nt done were fixed by Paul so its a real big BRAVO ZULU to Paul and of course the mayes rates applied, so we are damned lucky to have him as a techo adviser on our site. And if any one in the Adelaide area needs a computer check or you ,god forbid get a virus then Pauls ya man. You can always PM through this site to Paul and he will ring you . So at long last I have someone reliable to see to my computer instead of having to be ripped off by the rags of the world, how good is that?.

Humbled by your post Quinny, and happy as a pig in 'that stuff' it's running sweet. Just remember it's an ongoing thing to keep that sucker clean and tweaked to optimum performance, which I'll setup on my next visit which will most likely be Tues if it's ok. Just going to set up another partition on your drive, then put a Norton Ghost clone in there so everything is backed up much better than any other way, knocking out XP's crappy Restore altogether. Will fix up that Office for ya as well mate...reckon that it just needs to be reinstalled to All Users rather than one Admin....sumpin like that. I've had circulation probs with my legs, heaps of rotten cramps particularly at night Cliff, so thought to start taking some steps to get a bit more mobile by ATTEMPTING a few laps around the oval. I jog a bit, say 100 metres, then walk fast, then another jog alternating. Then lie down, gasp for breath waiting for some little honey to come along and give me mouth to mouth. But heres the bigun mate, Monday I'm going to the docs to see if I can get that new drug to see if I can kick the smoking addiction.

No, I haven't died and gone to heaven, retired and still hanging out on the NSW Central Coast. Wife Carol and number five grandson Nathan took the train to Sydney on Tuesday and visited the ubeaut Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour. Went onboard Vampire and the old O boat, who was doing duty as volunteer guide? ex-pussers cook, none other than old HMAS Melbourne hand, John 'Stalky' Oxley from the late 50's early 60's. Had a great natter about old times, Stalky, John Baines and former WOCK Kev 'Buck' Buchanan are all members of the Far East Strategic Reserve. Good one Cliff, spotted you in 2006 at the last reunion but you where busy 'head down and arse up' doing your thing helping to keep the ripper function on course. Great bunch of TF's, never seen so many blokes in one place full of ink with no blues or cross words, have to be some sort of record.
