Little bit of a quiet time in the Forum at the moment, so now is the time for some of the recent new members to add a little detail in your profiles, nothing too elaborate, just enough info so that we can identify with you. Have a look at a few others and you will get the idea. :smile:

Part of what 'seeashells' wrote in his introductory post :- "Probably get kicked off now NOW THAT I'M A HIT!" Well I have to say that he can also foretell the future, he was right, he is gone now.

Oooh ahhh!!!! all happenin' here at the 'G' hahaa! since I last logged in. Follow your heart guys, some just don't know where to draw the line, others draw it for themselves, and others test the admin/mods to see just where it is. On that, in future I will go out of my way to keep my lingo down I promise, even if it is abbreviated or disguised in any manner or form. I apologize for any remarks with blasphemous context, smutty remarks or profanities which may offend. So from now on, DUCKS IN THE POND!!!!

Hi All, just joined as a member, seen a lot of names i haven't heard of in years. I hope i can add to the forums in some way or the other. I can talk about anything, but mostly sport.

hi well here it goes .,my name is Graham johnson,nickname in pussers was cookie johnson, joined jan 1961 as r/cook got paid off may 1964.a/b ships cook . looking foward to going to reunion in july with a couple of oppos from Anzac 1961/2 . Pixie Park and Jim Carey. hope to see a few friendly faces from the galley. by the way does anyone know if Jock Campbell is still around . I was in his watch at albatross late 1963 then he was made up PO and he passed the watch over to me. he used to read dirty limericks out of this book he had. would be great to catch up with him and some of the other cooks at the tross then. any one can email me if they think they remember me from my time in pussers . regards cookie johnson (johnno) :grin: :?:

Welcome Johnno, hope to meet up with you at the reunion. If it is the same 'Pixie' you mentioned, he was at the 2006 reunion and was in good form as well - very affable bloke. (living in the Nowra area) He was one of my Killicks at Albatross in the early to mid '70's and did'nt appear to age one bit since I last saw him in the '70's. :smile:
