Quinny,
Glendinnings are still around (The Stacey bit has gone).
You can try this link and ask them if they have any in stock :-

or alternatively I will attempt to scan the rate badges from my Blues and my Sixes and send them to you. They are still in my kit bag from when I paid off in Oct '80. The bag has never been opened since then although I have threatened to open it a few times.

Kit Musters - the ultimate inspection - and the worst punishment
The kit muster caused much stress. You had to have all of your kit washed, ironed and folded. Then it was laid out for inspection. Some of you still had to do kit musters at sea when you were Ordinary Seaman. They were also given as a punishment - sometimes very unfairly.
Days routine Monday 14th Jan 2008
0600 - 3 mile run
0700 - breakfast
0800 - Parade
0900 - Kit muster for all

Can't be many who have their whole kit Cliff. Last I saw of mine was when I packed them in boxes when I went overseas after getting out of pussers.
Not sure what happened to them but think Life Line accidentialy picked them up when the folks were moving.....some things just disappeared
It's not the same kit that I started with as a recruit, but most of the important stuff is there. I think I even have a set of Blues with the red badges. (forgot what number they were called)
I will have a big unveiling this week and put a photograph up here in the forum and try to scan the badges for you Quinny. (7)

Kit musters, as an OD cook in 1970 I'm sure Trevor Spain (PO Cook at that stage)got his jollys giving od cooks running kit musters from six block to the Main, got me once, hated the man with a passion after that as did many others, funny thing is after all these years think it was one of best lessons I got in my Navy life, don't know where Trevor is these days ,but,if he saw how some of these civvies turned up for work these days he would be in running kit muster heaven.

Never worked in the Main Galley at Cerberus, the closest I got was the Wrans Galley whilst at the Cookery School , so, after the day at the School finished and on weekends thats where I worked I was the only one in my class to get that job.
The rest had the Main Galley I think. I think the names were drawn out of a hat and that's how I scored the Wrans Galley.
To be fair though I was up to the job.
