New faces on the site
This site is really cooking these days and its a pleasure to go on there and put me two bobs worth in. It has more than doubled since i have joined and i got the magic number 69 so many are getting with it these days. Such is the power of the internet . As you can see in the difference between my earlier posts and what I now post that my computer skills have improved in leaps and bounds. I enjoy reading all posts and check the site out most days . Im just wondering if there's enough interest would it would be worthwhile starting up a footy tipping contest next year, us cooks are such experts on footy Just ask us well tell ya . If you white mafia could give me a sign of interest via the site i'll get the ball rolling . Regards Quinny

Good idea Quinny, we'd love to have a Rugby League tipping contest, but if that is not possible, Australian Rules will have to do. :twisted:

Cliff it will be a real game of footy we will be tipping on ,And slim althouh i may never have met you we are as ex pussers cooks share a common bond so to speak .As my computer skills are not that good i may ask Rustic Paul to give me a hand getting this going There will be no money involved I will put up a trophy for the winner it will be just a bit of fun With the winner having the bragging rights for 12 months. And Bob if those Swans beat my crows next wek ill be gunning for you we either will play the Hawks or the Swans depending on the makeup of the final 8 . Now I've got a problem Quinny . If I barrack for those pricks from the wrong side of Port Road , Dad will dis-own me and I still remember the bashings we got from the thugs from LeFevre tech in the inter schools comp way back in history. But look at the options , Eddies Mob of wankers with less Flags than Port, mob of one towners and red heads from Geelong or wanna bees Roos (they all wanna be the Duck) . Problems ,problems !!

Yes Jaffa im in the same boat the mrs is a dyed in the wool supporter of the power and really i wouldnt mind seeing Geelong win as its been a long stretch since they won a flag. Ive got a soft spot for port really its called Spencer gulf , Christ Jaffa didnt know you were an adelaide boy and yes i can remember playing footy against lefevre tech when i used to attend Croydon Tech in 1964 -65 Its a culture in the port and they are a rough lot and play there footy like theres no tommorrow And its starts right from an early age .Im on the junior Executive of the Metro west comp these days and have a lot to do with footy at the junior level. My junior club is West Croydon and i have been with them for six years now They are the Hawks so i was Hoping that the hawks won last week but wasnt to be . I have been a western suburbs boy all my life and these days live in Ferryden park My growing up was in Woodville West Well all things considered its go the cats for me they have been the bench mark all year keep well Regards Quinny

Back in circulation after 4 months over seas and hanging around Darwin in the caravan...Geez I think I'm turning into "Jaffa" caravaning is magic..I like your footy tipping concept, why not trott it around at the reunion and you will get heaps to join in and and at the same time also boost the membership of the website.....Retirement is hell !!! BUT I WILL KEEP AT IT.....

Yes Errol want to start it at the seasons start next year if i can. The reunion is half way through the season I will have a nag to Cliff and I don't mind administering said comp but will need Cliffs help setting it up. Regards Quinny
