NOEL & NEIL HILL OR HILLS
I am wondering if any of you can help. Have been trying to find Terri White ex-WRAN WTR for some time and who joined in my intake November 60. I was told that she married Noel Hill who was a Cook and had a twin brother Neil who was also a Cook. Last I saw of them was at Kuttabul mid 60's. I believe that Noel may have since crossed the bar and that he and Terri were living somewhere in Northern NSW. Cheers Jude

Wow , Judy you are asking the old brain to work . You are right , Noel crossed the bar , early 90's I think. Niel , last I knew was around the NSW/ Qld border region . As an aside ,one of the two came to Coonawarra in '71 on an oilrig recruiting visit , looking for cooks and stewards . Paid for a bloody good piss-up and gave us his spiel . Sounded like cheffies heaven so we all kinda said \" Thanks ,Chief , No thanks Chief \" :roll: In '85 I paid off and was offered a spot on the Bass Strait rigs , Bloody Hell , it was all true !!! :shock: Spent the next 20 years on the rigs . :grin:

Thanks Jaffa, sorry I didn't answer sooner, been having troubles getting back onto the site. I can remember them at Kuttabul working with Bruce Hartman who was the Chief when the "new" Kuttabul opened. I was working at Navy News. Bruce unfortunately passed away when I was in Canada after I got out, can't remember what happened but his wife had told me. Such a shame, nice guy. Think that happened around 1967-68. Must admit the meals were excellent, 3 choices, always ate too much and felt like a snooze when I got back to work. Will keep on trying to locate Neil and see if he can let me know where she is. Will also try the State NAA to see if he is registered. Thanks again Cheers Jude
