He had been living there for 3 years because his parents had moved there, he had become very sick in the last few months of his life. He did 13 years in the Navy and paid off in Canberra in in early 1992, I was at ADFA with him when he paid off I think it was 1992. It was a lovely service, the Rosedale RSL Sub Branch was there and they had a ceremony for him and they played the last post and presented the flag and his cap to his partner Donna. They also presented Kyle with a Polo Shirt from the RSL in honour of his father. Rick was cremated at the Bundaberg Crematorium, Monday 28th August 2006. MARYANNE VANROOY
