S&S working for the GovernorGeneral in Canberra
Two former Scribes (Kev Davidson (former CPOWTR/LEUT) & Mark McConnell (former POWTR/LCDR) both work for the GG. Kev is Admin paper work Guru & Mark runs both the House in Yarralumla & Kirribi (opposite the Opera House, Sydney). I would have thought that former Cooks or Stewards would have been more likely to have obtained employment in this area? Is there any there to your knowledge??

Uncle Phil , AKA , Micheal Jeffery the soon to be ex-GG , is Dads cousin . The only one ever to call him Phillip was his Mum. There were nine siblings in my grandfathers family, 7 boys and 2 girls . All born between Ballaraat /Bendigo and Kalgoolie , Grt Grandad was one of the first trained mining engineers and Phils' Dad followed him . Met Uncle Phil a couple of times while I was at Leeuwin as a JR , he was doing his SAS course and was the Army equivilent of a Subby then in 65/66 So I guess we could call the GG a cuff rate member of the White Mafia....Hey , he's in the family

I think you may find that ex CPOSTD Lynette Mace works on this staff. I worked with her and mark Mcconnell on MC's staff in 97-98. But Mark is the go to man if you are looking for a job there. Regards, Molly

Oh yes Molly I forgot that Lynette Mace got a CSM when working for that MAN Brian Eagles. Now there is a man who should have been drowned at birth!! I think your years out out of wack. Mark was the ASEC as a LCDR & Mace was the POSTD when I was the acting Fleet WOWTR working directly for the Fleet Legal Officer (David Letts) in 99 to 2000. Mark McConnell was my LSWTR in Moreton back in 83. He lives on the GGs Grounds in his own home with his male partner??
