Screamin' down the hwy Ha Paul are you into Motor bikes cause I've just lashed out although its not a harley i'm happy, its sounds like an F111 and rides really good, possible chick or granny magnet. Hope to pick it up this week from Albury.

Paul_Dibby- 10-11-2007
Craig, what you'll need to do first is join Photobucket or ImageShack, will stop right there though and plonk a topic in Help ok mate.
No Harleys here mate, #1 on my list is an old Indian Chief, and then maybe a Ducati 900.
But more into puttin' slowwwww!!! these days.
If I ever come across a spare $50,000?...will hit an Indian over in the States quicker than a blowfly hittin' dogshit.
Heres the site I keep an eye on daily for the dream bike,

Didnt win the 30 milll in lotto last night so cant help ya with ya dream paul Have a good weekend I do enjoy the talk on prospecting . I had the bug years ago when i was living in Nowra there are quite a few old mines a round the area But i never got lucky Its something you Need a lot of patience with and thats not something Blessed with .I dug down about a metre at one time and found an old railway spike The father in law had the detector cant even remember which brand it was But it beeped a lot and i got sick of digging up bottle tops old beer cans and any other bit of steel it beeped on .Not one bit of gold we were at it all weekend We camped out and had a few beers and generally had a good time The only bit of gold ive ever found was at the tip in Nowra i was scavenging around and opened up this box with a set of false teeth in it and lo and behold there was a gold filling in the dentures Still have the teeth somewhere its the only time i have struck gold .So to speak but good on you blokes thnat have the tenacity to stick with your detectors Always see afew detectors in cash converters and looks like i wasnt the only one to no patience Id be intersted to see some of those coins you found paul or at least tell me what they are you never know when you might dig up a 1930 penny, worth a lot more than gold these days Keep well all Regards Quinny

Here is a Link that may be interesting re The Worlds Fastest Indian :-http://indianmotorcyclemonthly.com/content/view/37/28/

Absolutely love that movie Worlds Fastest Indian.
When I got the DVD, watched it around 3 times in 2 days.
Then again once a month for around 6.
Visited that site a while ago thanks Cliff, reading about Burt Munro and the REAL account, yet another Hollywood butchering to sensationalize eh.
But still, nevertheless great acting by the master, Sir Anthony Hopkins....what a gem and would highly recommend it to anyone bike lovers or not.
Watch it, if you are told you are too old to do something!

The japs got there arses kicked by the yanks again when harley took honda to court for making look a like bikes in their own backyard. Anyway stupid yanks still haven't learnt. Shall send a photo of the lone rider soon.
keep cruisin/surfin/detectn/what ever u enjoy

HEY??? YOU GOTTA SPEAK LOUDER MATEY, Ex BLOODY GUNNERY JACK 'ERE
Paul_Dibby- 10-26-2007
Thats it, I'm gonna write a song dedicated to the Brothers and Sisters of the Wind.
Those who've ridden sickles know the language I speaketh.
Wind, including the occasional bloody grasshopper in the snout, or worse.
Once out of Sydenny, out near Paramatta we were hurtling along at a great rate of knots when a maggie came charging in low off the starboard bow.
The big black n white git was around head high and the clash was inevitable, he was gonna get one of us.
As it turned out, the bastard flattened 3 of us!!! hahaa.
None of us hurt fortunately, the fella in front, one crazy Maltese biker Tony copped the bugger in his chest, peanut tailgater clobbered 'Faruge', then I went into the paddock through a fence and dooffff!, dropped the Duc.
Back then with roadbikes I started with a Honda 750-4, then a Kwaka 9, and then borrowed a Ducati 900.
Still miss my first bike, a TT-500 Yam trail. Geez did that ever have some torque!!!
The only bike I dearly want now is and Indian Chief...still For Sale on my fave website....some bastard won $30,000,000 the other day, a uni student who apparently, bought the 'wrong' ticket???
quinny- 10-26-2007
