I reckon the Cooks around my era would remember Scrubby Allen! I think we held the record THREE SCRUB OUTS before the duty watch took over to prepare the evening meal!

Remember the man well,he cracked the shit`s big time at tross in 78 when he refused me time to play interservice footy,I went to supply cap`t (who just happened to be president of tross footy team) I played interservice footy that year and to piss him off more i made the combined service team which took us to Qld for two weeks,he never spoke to me much after that

Oh is that right!!!...lol.. I love watching AFL for the hand bag hits & Mellies when 6 players all swing their hand bags at the small time and nobody actually connects!!...lol But big bad Barry Hall clocked that guy and got 8 weeks, that was a good hit but Barry is a boxer by profession so what do you expect from that thug. What I never knew that even with games attended by 60 to 80 thousand spectators, the Clubs themselves are dying financially because very few Victiallians actually bother to become financial members of the Club they say that wear their heart on their sleeve??? cheers, Lindsay
