I work in TAFE in Victoria teaching Hospitality, if you need any info drop us a line and i will try to find out what i can A new training package for Hospitality has now been signed off on it comes into 08 There are many things you can do to update/upgrade skill via your local TAFE's or RTO's (registered training organisations) some can cost so check prices first you can have RPL (recognition of prior learning) or RCC recognition current competency's) you sit down and work out all the training and job skills you have and it is mapped out to work out what quals you have and what gap training you may need, there is also a new initiative called Skill stores may have different names in states but you pay a fee to have them map out your quals and some of the fee goes part way toward any training you may need try this website for more info. www.otte.vic.gov.au/skillsstores/default.asp Cheers Michael Boerner
