When i was at Cerberus we had a tight ass ABCK who use to bring in his Sugar,Flour,sauce containers and so on from home, and fill them up before finishing a duty. I think some moonlighting catering business where catered for from pussers stock as well.

Why frig around with containers take the whole bag Worked for me .

Yes Lindsay Johnny Grisauskas paid of as a Pock and came back as a civvie at the Tross for a few years He was still working in the main When i paid off in 1991 .He is living up in Queensland these days and still keeps in touch with his navy mates No doubt he will be at the reunion .Hes on a TPI pension these days im led to believe .Never heard him referred to as pig it wasn't a name that stuck i dont think.All the the time i knew him He was Johnny Grizzle or A to Z . Hmmm, there was a certain LSCK at Nirimba in the 80's who used to bring his station wagon in on saturday mornings and it was loaded to the gunnels with rabbits. I heard he made up take home packs and sold them to the lads at the local rubbity.

When i was at Penguin in late 80's we use to have a seafood buffet every couple of months on a Friday for all the local people of importance. At the end of the function, out would come the broccoli box lids covered with alfoil, lettuce leaves garnish and all the left over seafood bunged on to it, wrapped in happy wrap and straight up to the local pub and raffled off for the cooks piss fund for the night. Use to make a few hundred on a good night. Nothing like good recycling by the Cooks always thinking ahead.

No it use to be a lot of VB's at BV's (Buena Vista) they were also the sponsor of the cooks indoor cricket team, no money involved just plenty of beer.

The Buena Vista is the Pub I meant on the corner going to Penguin or Taronga Park Zoo at the Mosman roundabout. I was there in 85 when I was doing my Ship's Diving Supervisors Course with CD's and Kiwi CD's. A dispute broke out & we were all requested to get out of the Pub for the rest of the day. Not banned as Pensuin personnel brought too much money into the Pub.

I know of some cooks from the Daley mess take stuff cause the army orders too much stuff in this mess at Lavarack. They all cry that they are all broke, ect. I reckon those army people just do tooo much excersise and eat too much where does it all end up down the shitter..
