Update on Dave Buddha Kitchener
Well what a surprise i got a phone call from dave on Saturday we chewed the fat I was in Dave's watch as a young cook at Nirimba in 1972 I haven't seen Him since about that time he was around but our paths never crossed again such being the nature of pussers .Hes alive and well and living at Culburra on the NSW south coast .And yes for all of you that know Dave he will be at the reunion with bells on so im told. He got out after 12 a well respected Abck and a top bloke who called a spade a spade and he is looking forward to catching up with all his mates .He reads the cooks site from time to time and he will submit when he gets up to speed on his computer hes just starting out. I got on to him through an email that shotgun Cannon sent me and i dropped him a line to say hi next minute we were talking thats after some 30 years or so we had some catching up to do he is coming to the reunion with a few of the Nowra mob . Im off out shortly to catch up with Kieth Holmes who rang me last week Any one out there that ever doubts the effectiveness of the Internet to keep in touch with lost mates Has got it all wrong Crikey 30 odd years since i chatted to dave and it was just like he stepped out for a Tosca .Thank you cooks site Keep well Regards Quinny
